Green Zing Smoothie Bowl (GF, Vegan)

Serves 1

This smoothie is packed with gut friendly ingredients, I hope you enjoy it and as always, adjust to your tastes! If you are not a fan of ginger, omit this as it is an overpowering taste.

No rules 🙂

1 frozen banana
1/2 green apple, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/4 C water
Handful ice
1/2 C Coconut yoghurt
1/4 – 1/2 wedge of lemon (including the skin)
Small knob of fresh ginger
A couple of torn kale leaves (or a handful baby spinach)
Handful fresh parsley
1 tsp slippery elm powder (optional)
1tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional, makes it a bit sweeter and creamier)

Once again, whatever you like! I used shredded coconut, granola and peanut butter

Blend, top, eat!
